Because Ahmedabad is an existing city with infrastructure in place unlike virtual reality  

** Olympics  , i hope india won't host it until all cities have working underground drainage , 24/7 drinking water supply, a decent University  for every 1 million population and other basic infrastructure in place

The simple argument against Olympics is it shouldn't happen in a country where basic infrastructure like 24/7 drinking water , drainage are not present in every city 

And another argument is central govt should have very limited role in conducting Olympics , the state and the city should bear most of the responsibility. 

If anything goes wrong , the city should bear the costs just like Rio did
