I didn’t get the character of the guy who helps the girl.. he has no relation with them or has no connection.. but he still goes to great lengths to help them.. they should have showed some kinda connection with them..

movie theme is not horror actually, it's about strangers helping each other, in a part of horror related story per director. 

Story is drama, with horror being a part of it. Very well done by director.
