I am very confused in some ways of earning here in USA. 

 

So my friend stays in Plano (tx), last year we visited them,in their community(99% indians are staying at that community)one lady who is in H4( she came along with husband in 2021) is running her “at home beauty parlor” And it’s not like they have some financial issue her husband is in manger post and earning very well. 

 

How come no one reported this? One of my husband’s colleague had to go back India because his wife was selling home made food in H4. And someone reported them. 

 

When I heard was so confused because I have more 5 years of experience in India and did my master too but I couldn’t work here because of visa restrictions(H4 dependent).

 

So are rules different in each state?

 

Note: She doesn’t have H4EAD. He husband is in H1 and his wife and 2 kids are in H4 visa.
