recent ga job offer vachindi with 120k. We are family of 2.Myself and wife.

weekly twice office lo work in downtown.

Can anyone suggest if i can move. Rents enta undavachu.

Currently earning 95k in kansas.

rents will be 1800$  and u need to pay tolls to drive to downtown and u need to pay for parking in downtown 

taxes are more - gas is costly 

u don’t save anything more than what u r saving now 

it might even be less savings than u r currently saving in kansas

As some one who lived in chicago for 5 years, i can tell u cost of living is decent. Appatlo aithey downtown lo 2bed 1.3-1.8k ki vachevi. Ippudu entha unnayo mari. Downtown lo public transport too good. Car ey avasaram undadu.

 

arlington heights, buffalo groove lo aithey 1k ki vachevi 2bed. Akkadi nunchi downtown ki metro undi. Downtown ki north side kooda desis baney untaru. Akkadi nunchi downtown ki bus/train service undi

congrats bro...my advice is better to live in suburbs if you have to go to work only twice a week...train station dhaggarlo undetattu choosuko..you can easily live with $120K...rents are reasonable in suburbs compared to downtown...

Heard lot changed since then. Was not as cheap as it used to be.
