your claim that only popular movies will get nominated is wrong.. because PS1 got nominated for Asian film awards under best film category... whereas the 'most popular' film RRR that apparently ran to full houses in Japan didn't.. they obviously applied for the award, and didn't get nominated for whatever reason.

the point here is that popular movies don't get nominated. Only those inside the circle, their movies get nominated. rajamouli did well to get into that circle. may be it'll help telugu industry find new markts. thats it.

I don't hate rajamouli at all. I hated his baahubali movie, but I never posted a single thread on him, until you and that idiot hunkyfunky2 started taunting me. If anything everything I post here is out of hatred for you, not rajamouli. coz I didn't watch that film, and never will.

I think rajamouli is the best commercial director in India, with reasonably good aesthetic sense (compared to shankar who has weird aesthetic taste). Also mouli makes the most beautiful action scenes in India.. I may not like his movies, but I'm not going to go and post about them all day.
