having fang experience on resume is good but it doesn't guarantee you a job.they have to look in bay area only for their next job. companies only look for work experience with the technologies. they don't care where you worked

They cant lay off all recruiters. Most of the companies involve recruiters during internal transfers too. 
second thing recruiting org will be the most diversified org in 99% companies.

Nothing guarentees a job my friend. But with faang on resume, they will definitely have better chance to get calls for interviews. 
companies looks for work exp in specific technologies applies to only mid level companies and few companies like apple/msft. Most of the startup’s stopped caring about exp in specific fields and even several well established companies are transitioning into that mode.

 

and why should they only look for bayarea?
