LAUNCHING OF SPECIAL PORTAL FOR BATTLE CASUALTIES WELFARE FUND

Website namely ‘Maa Bharati Ke Sapoot’ was launched by Raksha Mantri Shri Rajnath Singh on 14 October 2022 for contribution towards Armed Forces Battle Casualties Welfare Fund for providing financial assistance to the families of soldiers who are injured or died during military operations. However, the fund has been in existence since the year 2016.

Maa Bharati Ke Sapoot website has been launched, so that the spirited Indian citizens, corporates, banks and premier organisation can directly make their contributions towards Armed Forces Battle Casualties Welfare Fund (AFBCWF), for providing immediate financial assistance to the families of soldiers who have scarified their lives or injured during military operations. Details of AFBCWF account is as under:

This is not to fund army purchases or support defense acquisitions, but to support casualties after the service. Indian armed forces never took any donation for their expenses or support their budget, its a national policy. chillar gallu whatsapp forward chestuntaru...

"The clarification issued by the Indian Army titled "Clarification on the issue of Army Welfare Fund Battle Casualties" said that the Indian Army opened a bank account named "Army Welfare Fund Battle Casualties (AWFBC)" that accepts donation for the families of Battle Casualties. It said that "donation received in the fund will be utilised to pay financial assistance / grant to widows of the Battle Casualties, their next of kin and dependents."

In US also there are number of campaigns to support Army, Veterans, and sometimes local Fire Departments.

You may be mistaken by the false information. Army welfare will take care of its fallen soldiers and danikosame sainik welfare ani separate arm vuntadi, school education for kids, spouses Ki army lo posting, home site, agri land etc. But these options may not fulfil the needs of survivors like physically handicapped etc. 

these funds are on top of that, to meet any uncertain expenses for the welfare..

Just like CM relief fund.
