india lo expenses ekkuve...if you need cook , panimanishi , costly schools for kids , vallaki evening classes , high rise apartments lo rent , organic food etcetc. ends up being very expensive.

Anna, oka 1C appu cheyyanna inti kosam. 23 laks equal to 100K$ avuno kadho telustundi. Kids school is free in US, where as you need to spend 2lacs/kid per year even in a normal school. If you have children with special needs, it is a different struggle. 

Most of the guys that leave India are also running away from family commitments. It takes a ton of time to keep up with the family expectations. Velu vidichina rendo mama moodo koduku kuturi barasala functions, Inkevaro chinna taatha kooturi koduku dhoti function, nanna friends marriage function antu evo evo social commitments untayi. People get far too busy without a life of their own. Some people like that and a lot of Gen-Y/Millenials don't. 

Staying away seems like a convenient escape. Depends on priorities. The lifestyle wise, 23 lakhs package kadhu kaani, 23 lakhs after all cuttings is comparably the same. But, 23 lakhs after cutting ante close to 40-45 lakhs package.
