Sidhu...Sidhaarth Roy Posted October 17, 2010 Report Posted October 17, 2010 VISAKHAPATNAM: The ACA-VDCA stadium here is all set to host the [size=14pt][font=arial black][b]second one-day international between India and Australia[/b][/font][/size] on October 20.This is going to be the first flood-lit ODI to be played in the city, and the stadium is expected to be packed to its capacity in spite of the absence of batting wizard Sachin Tendulkar, exciting batsman Virendra Sehwag, along with speedster Zaheer Khan, spinners Harbhajan Singh and Pragnan Ojha for different reasons.The Indian cricket team is riding high on success after blanking the Australian team 2-0 in the Test series. Every ODI promises a lot of excitement, and the one being played here will be more interesting.Rare facilityThe stadium also has nets outside the main stadium, a facility very rare among the Test or ODI venues. All the stands have been fixed with chairs and the capacity is 28,000. The dressing rooms of both teams have the most modern facilities and other requirements like umpires' room, etc. have been equipped with the best of facilities long time ago.There is also a 100-seat air-conditioned Press Box.
