Yes in 1990s he was great family audience grabber ..his last recognizable movie was khadgam..ottesi cebutunna, pellam voorelithe..comedy multi starrer after that he made gangster movies ..beginning 2007 after hit of shankardada mbbs

Back in those days, families liked clean movies with some message like Egire pavurama. So people like Srikanth and JD had some careers, ippudu andariki hero elevations kavali, mass scenes kavali including family audience so yeah they aren't relevant anymore in this day and age.

I still remember.. saw this movie with the whole family..along with grand parents..entiki vellaka vankaya curry cheyyamanna maa Amma ni..good times

Until there is strict age limit entry by rating in all theatres we won’t have clean movies. I can’t and won’t take kids to telugu movies anymore , and “most” parents never cared the content kids are exposed to unless it’s full on porn or samaram talk .

I agree, ee trend India lo ne kaadu baa ikkada kooda choosa. Factionism background undi, bosidikey, lambdi kodaka ilanti dialogues tho raktham porli ponge scenes tho unna movies ki 10 years and less age unna kids ni teesukeltharu manollu even here I don't think theater management enforce the rules when it comes to regional movies that strictly. 

Theater e kaadu even getting them to watch those movies at home is detrimental to the kids progress

It’s sad telugu parents in USA don’t care when taking kids to telugu movies even though they are aware . India lo villages lo it’s understandable, kids go to recording dances and use curse words like there is GRE exam on it.
