If all it takes is 100M to buy an Oscar, there are plenty of studios and producers who can afford to buy one for their film..

here he is talking about the max cost of promotion.. not the cost to buy an Oscar.. 

luckily RRR got lot of word of mouth publicity bcoz of Netflix and re release of the film in select theaters in Hollywood.. and they spent on top of it.. they have to show the movie to as many academy members as possible..

publicity cost 25 crores for a low budget film and 80 crores for a studio film. antha karchu pettadam ante literally konnatte lekka. karchupettina prathi okkadiki oscar radu but they spend a lot just to draw attention. studios ki obviously members ni influence chese chance untundi. mana films ante andaru lite teesukuntaremo.
