If you encounter blocking, I recommend you look at this guide "clearvpn" it explains which VPNs are best to use to access your favorite shows. It especially helped me understand where to watch anime, even if regular sites are unavailable. Now I can watch anime online without any problems using a VPN and the tips from the article.

You can also get caught with vpn..vpn ips come in blocks thats how netflix can detect you are on VPN..it is still very risky unless someone has advanced networking knowledge and sets it up on router

just across the border is also frowned upon. pre-covid my company never cared but post covid, when everyone working remotely there are tracking, we had these issues, we have to notify manager if we are logging away from usual location.  Despite company has footprint in whatever countries that we are logging in from. SLA agreements, insurance, compliance, auditing dictate the policy of accessing the systems other than primary work location.
