I will be a Canadian citizen soon. TN visa is still a visa. Better than H1B but not equivalent to US GC.

H1 is always safer than TN visa. TN visa is very dependent on border control guys. Okasari approve ayina renewal appudu too much grilling undochu. And they have very specific requirements. E2 business visa anukunta. If the poster has a business plan then he can come using that

E2 is a non immigrant visa. You can start your business in US with very low investment as low as about $30k, but you cannot petition for a green card. If you did, you cannot get an extension that's because you're Indian born.

Depends on expectations. Whats your long term goal. If it's to chase green card, TN wont help you if you're Indian born. If you're only chasing $ and will leave US then TN offers flexibilities that even H1 doesn't.

1.No cap no. of jobs.

2. You don't need a sponsor, all you need is a job 

3. No renewals headaches, or planning leaving US for short term.

 

Only thing is you need to PROVE TO the BORDER GUYS THAT YOU WONT IMMIGRATE TO US on a TN. That's all.

TN is a non immigrant visa. Don't think that your renewals will keep coming through. At 3rd renewal or so, your job and your stay will be scrutinized even more rigorously. This is also dependent on who's in power and their immigration stance.  I'd the officer feels that your position looks more like permanent, or you bought property on TN , then they can interpret it as intent to immigrate, your extension can be rejected or you will be told to switch to H1B visa asap, which means there won't be next renewal.
