Can we buy agricultural land in India on GC?

Simple topic got complicated:

there are only 2 categories NRI(still Indian Citizen) & OCI(Indian Citizen took Foreign citizenship). NRI can buy any property in India, OCI can inherit any property from parents and buy Residential and commercial properties on OCI. There is no problem if the OCI holder bought some agriculture properties before taking the foreign citizenship, He can still keep them.

GC is just kind of perm visa anthe... you are still an Indian citizen.. Restrictions comes in play only for OCI holders. As long as you hold Indian Passport emina konochu..
