Flights take just as much time if you count airport travel and security checks, while costing much more travelling to outskirts 

Hidden bonus is trains pollute a lot less while also costing little to no foreign exchange

One way flight ticket from Hyd to Vizag is Rs. 3700
Travel time : 1 hour
Travel to airport : Rs 800 - 2 hours to airport 
wait and security in airport : 3 hours 
Then getting out of airport and going home in vizag : Rs 500 / 1 hr

Rs 5000 total (approx) about 7 hrs door to door 

train probably is Rs 3200 with 10 hrs of travel door to door 

and you can work in trains or watch movies .... with so much moving in airport, flight etc you cant sit and be productive

1700 is too much for  vizag to hyd. You can do high speed train at 350 kmh from beijing to jinan at $26

this train can go faster but tracks limit 130k speed

also this train is designed and made in india not outside
