Funny thing is most of these are hardcore upper caste who hate reservation in india or treating muslims as equals.

The question is conniving to whom ? Layoffs are happening...but why isn't there any panic ? Because it's helping the country.

You may support trickle down economics but now that's reached unsustainable levels. Corporates can't allow the consumers aka the poor people to become temperamental and Government is a champion of the poor. 

People are saying DEI is causing problems, what about the other evils like fake merit ? They are causing worse damage to real meritorious population. Corporates and Govermnent are finding a way to filter entire population of US and that's the ultimate truth which is not going anywhere.
