Try firm mattress.. any mattress after 5 years have to be changed in my exp. Once back starts to act, it’s about time to change it.

Ikea Morgedal FIRM is the best that I tried. I invested a few thousands on Nectar and I didn't like that at all. The next best to Morgedal is Costco/Sealy firm. If you have lower back pain try some Chiropractor or massage and try to sleep on the floor for a few days. That helps.

If the mattress is too firm, then try changing it. If you do not know how to choose a good mattress that you will find suitable, ask for help. Usually, in shops, some professionals can help you when purchasing a mattress. But if you already have back pain, I will suggest you go for a massage. He will help you relieve the pain and tension in your back. Physiotherapy toronto is a good clinic where you can go. My mum was using it a while ago also to relieve the back pain.
