Depends bro and lot of factors involved here like location , paycheck , life style like apt sharing, car emi, cooking food vs eating out etc ..If you are stingy may be 3-4 yrs savings cheyochu max. And also if you are earning say 30 L in india and 120k here i dont see much savings here vs india.

Stay & earn as long as you can in the US. You can always return, at least temporarily, after becoming a citizen. Don't fall for what your friends or family members say. They want to bring you down to their level.
