I didn’t see any news related to this except for the tweet you posted.. world leaders vastunte chala hadavidi chestaru kadaa.. looks like this is a small meeting..

For G20 there are meetings in different states all year long in different fields, business, sciences, leaders meeting, education, etc etc. The Central govt last year asked states to be prepared to host and try to grab as much opportunities that come their way through these meetings conducted in their city.

If local govts. only see it as an opportunity for hosting, the city/state will be the same as before after the G20 meetings as well. Only money will be spent for doing face lift to the cities.

The one in Vizag is working group committee, so more of the delegates belonging to all G20 will be coming fro a general body meeting it looks like.

Science 20 meeting trying to discuss how science can take lives forward and share scientific results among G20 happened in Puducherry.

There are year long meeting occuring in many places, from J&K to the Andamans, to the northeastern states and in the Rajasthan. for the Central Govt they are trying to showcase India as a whole and are asking respective state govts to grab what is helpful for them in business or contacts.

ABN will not have any news on this as CBN is not hosting them, if it was TDP govt in power you could bet that coverage would have been over the top all the way about the greatness of the TDP trying to do the best hosting and all that.

Sakshi might be doing opposite what ABN is doing right now. (i wouldn't know as i don't watch both channels now).
