Which Indian states attract most foreign tourists?

Like why the would you visit Andhra Pradesh or Tamil nadu ? There's nothing to see , no facilities on beaches , not much non religious historical places , etc 

Goa , mumbai ,delhi-agra attracts majority of the non NRI tourist traffic 

Overall india is not a major destination for tourism

How many Christians or muslim visit badly maintained hindu temples ? 

Photoshoot isnt even allowed inside anyway , most of the foreigners visiting them are first gen NRIs

Too much. 15 to 20 years back e I saw many foreigners in Chennai, Mahabalipuram and other places. It is ok if you don’t know.

Pondicherry probably has more foreign tourists than chennai . Auroville has lot of French tourists 

I know how neglected mamlapuram is , recently it got some boost but it's still not a great destination as a foreign tourist because of lack of facilities.
