One thing i noticed is rarely have i ever seen hyd telugu guys partying openly with telugu songs or giving best dances  in parties gatra.

In HPS also it was total bollywood and muslim presence culturally. and some telugu guys used to apologetic about their language.

Now in america too i notice the people most active, putting the best dances in parties and get togethers are mostly from coastal andhra guys like rajhamundry or kakinada or bandar.

And it is by all castes.

Okay 15 years back varakuu nobody gave a  about movies in TG region.
 

I know many friends parents in Hyd who never went to movie theatres in decades  

May be younger generation is exclusion anukunta. Cable vacchaka they started watching movies. Even then cinema piccha chala thakkuvaaa. No way compared to Andhra people. I observed seema people ki kuda peddha interest em undadu movies and hero worship crap meedhaaaa. 
 

TG people are more obsessed about dawathhh. Bajjiii, Mukka, mandhuu and mazaaak mazaak conversations with family. That’s their definition of fun in the olden days. They were very much content with it

first of all neeku thelidhu anukunta. Hyd has a big filmi culture. almost all parties have film songs.

It is just that telugu guys are marginalized in it because of hindi.urdu dimension.
