(The government has introduced a 10% EWS reservation for general category candidates. This is for all those candidates who are not covered under any reservations (such as OBC, SC, ST and except PH and Ex-servicemen criteria) and belong to economically backward sections.)

Pl note Economic criteria for both OBC and EBC are same

I used to have anti Reservation thoughts when I was young but now that I think about it , it isn't a big issue at all 

The main issue is lack of seats in colleges , incompetent buffoons in charge of india have failed to add capacity for higher education. 

As for govt jobs , they should be made as inconsequential as possible. The  reason people queue for govt jobs is due negative reasons like job safety now matter how bad you are , corruption , low work , etc 

Govt salaries need to be pushed downwards and their powers should be flatly spread . Technology should be used to make them redundant

Reservations should be there at least for socially and economically backward people, but not based on caste.. but India lo actual income telidam kastam and hard to implement this way.. 

I have few friends who came from an extremely poor background and studied well bcoz of reservations and scholarships.. and one friend uplifted his family and his brothers family too… if he didn’t get those opportunities, he would have become a cobbler like his father..

50% of the reservation batch in ECE and CSE never graduated or graduated in 5 or 6 years instead of 4. Even the ones who graduated in 4 had a very poor scores.
