First, by locking horns with China in tense military standoffs since 2020 despite the risk of a full-fledged war, India is doing what no other power has done in this century.

Second, greater power alone isn’t the key determinant. What is critical to any contest is leadership, political will, resoluteness, strategy, tactics, and troop morale. Even in peacetime, the absence of strategic vision and resolve can turn the stronger side into the weaker side.

Small Vietnam defeated France, the U.S. and China in separate wars. Pakistan continues to gore India, although it is almost 10 times smaller in GDP terms, 7 times smaller demographically, and has a 6 times lower military spending than India’s. If India plays victim, it will remain a victim."

Pls don’t consider US loosing to Vietnam.. they could’ve made it worse and it was mostly internal reason for US to back out of the war.
