but if you fall below the 45-50% bracket at the end of the year wrt your AGI.

you will get back the 20+% back of your bonus. if your settings are right

10% Bonus = 10K

regular pay tax rate = 22%

bonus pay they cut 45% = so u get 4.5K after tax cut.

but end of year your AGI will include bonus, and u will get back the extra 23% they cut.

He meant tax cut 4.5K and take home 5.5K..Typo anthe..

End of year lo aa 23%(2.3K) return ostayi..overall ga 10K lo 2.2K ne cut avthayi ani cheptunadu

Its all a game man .. Some companies offer an option to invest bonus % in 401K .. some people invest 50% there but at the end of the year, you get that extra percentage back when you filed taxes. It also depends on your AGI

45% , you will get the extra amount back during tax returns , if your company allows try to move some bonus into 401k
