Old rule. recently republished on uscis website. Almost all immi attorneys claim they can get it easy but no one knows.

possible reasons for getting EAD on compelling circumstances.

1. Job Loss on H1

2.some sort of critical illness to family members like cancer etc which needs to continue treatment in US

3.applicable only for 1 yrs, which mean one needs to come back to H1

if any idiots think this is new, they are ignorant

there is no data on how many people even got it, it could be less than few hundreds, it is basically useless 

you are better off leaving and come back when you find job
