is it the same for The Elephant Whisperers .. i know they are not in same league , but ye content aina reach undali ante promos undali kada ?

Think of it as an investment for the future. RC,NTR,SSR can command bigger compensation and the producers can also sell to foreign buyers at a higher price 

I don't know if it's a real figure or not but these guys are not stupid to spend so much money wastefully

You need to pay lobbyists to get more connections and better impressions on the critiques 

You need to pay media to get prime time interviews and featured articles 

Travel costs are going to be expensive 

There are definitely costs involved but i am not sure of the 80c figure

There may be costs involved...lobbying,travel, hospitality, promotions and most of the promotions and interviews are paid these days. American Accent training...special flights, hotels, entertaining guests and lobbyists, etc....oka 4-5 months nundi ide nadustundi so month ki oka 10c anukunna 50c varaku ayivundochu...promotion karchu anukuntaro leka inkedaina but definitely there are costs involved if not 80 c but definitely in that range.

Elephant whisperers ki eda vunde vayya promotions....no one knew about this documentary till it was short listed...atarvata news la vadu veedu seppadame thappa  documentary ki promotions ante kastame...inka a stage ki poledu anukunta.like Charana kodi ki barana masala type

but same RRR laga voting kosam screenings , reach out undali kada to get attention from oscar committee both before and after nomination
