Below firm filed for her lottery..now asking to pay 7000$ stating her h1b is picked..is it safe to pay ani asking.. I don't know..you guys advise

It cost around 5K and ask them proof that her application is picked... She can also bargain asking them to file and once the approval/rejection comes she can pay... First what is the proof that it is picked...

7k is too much, I797c istaaru but ask them the exact cost it depends on company size how many they have if  a company have less than 25 consultants the h1b fees is around 1710, if they add lawyer fee on top like $1500 still it will be 3210. if more consultants may be 1k more but they are asking too much.
