Go with leather if you have kids or pets...microfiber even though they say you can wipe off easily..it's a little high maintainence

had microfiber for a few years...too many stains..couldn't eliminate...kid was small that time...

replaced with top grain leather sofa..no stains, no discoloration...6 years now and still intact...
