China is making a play for reserve currency. This is known. They are making their currency what will be used to transact in African countries. This is basically a statement by China under the guise of another country

It is a coordinated effort by Russia and China. It will take time but they probably eventually succeed. Timeframe over 10 years though so doesn't matter much short term.
