enni yugalu aina vomerica ni kottedi le ante

Ofc, if life's objective is to make as much money as possible, which is the case for most of us here, US ni kottedi ledu. Unlike that, if someone wants tranquility, they go elsewhere like Canada. Simple!

Bro,  what i heard in  R2I forums about canada is below...

okadu ayitee its better to do begging in India than living in canada annadu 🤣

  • taxes are high so people can't save much
  • rent and home prices are exorbitant.. Whole Canada is like NJ / California
  • not many jobs compared to US
  • freezing cold in many parts of canada..
  • Car insurances are ridiculous and wait times for critical illness can be nerveracking

in my opinion Canada charges more taxes than US and that will definitely make a difference for talented people. As they think they can make more if they are in adjacent country which you can save more and earn more. I believe this is one of the reason what makes it less preferable than US

Education in US is expensive. Undergrad tuition in US is atleast 40k USD per year. In Canada it is 10-15 K USD max per year. MD program costs 70k USD/year  min in US, it is around 20k USD per year in Canada.

These days most of the US IT jobs are coming to Canada as they get a better conversion rate and same time zone advantage which means easy to get two remote jobs if you have a good skill set.

US medicare is very expensive. Canada it is free but you have waitlines. But if it is an emergency, there will be no waitlines. For Indians like us, it is not an issue at all. I can go to India and get whatever medicare I need at a reasonable cost. As such, how many times you visited hospitals?

Weather is getting better in Toronto area because of global warming. Pretty much same as all northern US states.

Retirement life is better here because of free Medicare

Coming to refugees, I really don't care. Never had a problem. Aa Dallaspuram lo vunde mana valla kantey ee refugees better. Neighbourhood motham manollu vuntey, peer pressure, kids pressure, cheeti paatalu, etc., , edho oka comparison lu, godavalu ...

Crime rate too low. Vomerica lo guarantee ledhu life ki.
