do we need approved H4 EAD to start working ? 
someone said we can drop the application for H4 EAD extension and then work on the receipt for 6 months or 8 months etc. 

is it true ?

If the H4 applicant has valid I-94 then you can work H4 EAD receipt till you get the card. If not then you have to wait for H4-EAD card in hand.

ya but wife h1 got appoved before... I moved from H1 to H4.. so no option for premium processing..
