Got good hike but no promotion dilemma

My company usually gives 2% hike every year along with Bonus. Ninna YE Review lo manager gave good Bonus w/ 8% hike. He mentioned he submitted for my promotion. We dont know it until Sept this year whether I got prom or not? How do I understand this hike? Usual ga Bay lo promotion ki entha istaru hike? dont tease me you dont know this that ani..have been working with this company for more than 5+ years. never received more than 3% hike so far.

Hike is always good. Dont worry about promotion as long as your salary is market matched. 

Suppose ee year promotion raka poina next year promotion vasthe you get big hike again. Mostly for promotion you get 5% minimum hike.

Thanks brother. But I feel motivated if I get Promotion and I can make decisions instead of running every time to my principal guy.

Post your salary so that we can compare along with your tech, remember if you are more than average pay in your company then you will be first to get laid off in SEPT 2023

in general pay bracket vuntundi every job ki so dantlo max vostey inka hike ivvaru

I will tell what I see in my company , mid year promotions are stopped this year because of economy . And internal gossip is that promotions would Be a rare thing for this year at least . 
 

If your company is recession proof then all good .
