Coming to funding to political parties, NaModa gadu in 2017  created the new way of a funding mechanism known as electoral bonds. In truth, electoral bonds have only legitimized opacity. Under this scheme neither political parties nor corporates  need to disclose the funds received/donated.

First, it eliminated the cap on corporate donations, previously restricted to 7.5 percent of a firm’s average net profits in the past three years. Second, it dropped the requirement that companies disclose details of their political giving. Instead of issuing a thorough inventory of political donations in their annual statement of accounts, firms would only have to divulge an aggregate figure.

 

At Rs 4,847.78 cr, BJP has highest assets among top 7 parties: ADR analysis

 

Among the regional parties, the highest assets were declared under FDR/Fixed Deposits by SP (Rs 434.219 crore), TRS (Rs 256.01 crore), AIADMK (Rs 246.90 crore), DMK (Rs 162.425 crore), Shiv Sena (Rs 148.46 crore) and Biju Janata Dal, BJD (Rs 118.425 crore) among others, the ADR said in a release.

Things apart, Project Tiger has been a very successful project. From 1000 tigers to 3100 tigers, we did come across a long way. From the fear of extinction to the most protected animal in the country…50 years of Project Tiger and looks like we have finally protected the species which is on the top of the food chain system in Indian forests. 
 

Project Cheetah which was launched few months back seems to be well on track to reintroduce the species back into the forests. 
 

Forest cover is growing, wild life is being protected…finally destruction nundi protection mode Ki vachinam…
