Check your affordability, add 20% buffer and then work the numbers backwards on what home you can afford..

In dallas from Jan 2nd week full of reverse trend..toll Brothers in prosper and drees and tradition houses building left and right(atleast 60 to 70 houses or may be more between three buidlers under contruction some are inventory also iguess ) around my home.. people lining up crazy in tesla every week near model homes..and old houses in good neighborhood are in bidding zone..agree  decline for some very old neighborhoods not much interest ..

 

Half mile from my home khovanin also selling almost all lots in last phase in 800k range for 4k sft homes..

within dallas , places on west and east of DFW are seeing some discounts. depends on where you want to buy.

expected range lo thaggaledu...pre covid prices tho comparison ledu. so people re confused. also they hope that recession will come and prices will collapse
