dont know a whole lot about this but my colleague commented that after pandemic season tickets have gone ridiculously expensive to go and watch the game in the stadiums

Still people pay 250 $ for worst tickets u go not watch the game but get an experience

my friend and his wife went to a local game recently, as you said paid 250 each just for experience. defnitely not great seats as per their comments
