agree...public school is 1 - 1.5 mile distance..charted school is 16 miles..(30 min commute..)...

just thinking...is it really worth...?

 

so far my understanding...

 

pros with charted schools....

- good education...

- engage kids more in academic activities..

- dont have to pay for additional tutions...

cons with charted schools...

- no other activities like clubs..etc

- more commute..

 

 

pros with public schools..

- balanced eduction..and social activities..

- less commute

cons with public schools..

- you have to stay in that school district...

- needs additional private tuitions...

Private tuitions no need uncle .. as long as one of either mom r dad makes sure their kid is learning daily by checking and sitting with them atleast an hour or so

My son goes to Private. He attended both public and charter. But only acads focus untadi. games and clubs lantivi undavu. middle lo public lo veddam anukuntunnamu.

don't put pressure on kids, growing up I'm not sure about others but I did get a lot of chances to do things that I wanted to do except for studying, parayana batch ikkada so you know how things would have went, anyway I wish for my kids to try out different activities and not just studies, also the pressure I had during +2, I do not wish that on anyone, too much comparison and competition and it sucks..
