Nikah means marriage and halala means to make something halal, or permissible. This form of marriage is haram (forbidden) according to the hadith of Islamic prophet Muhammad. Nikah halala is practiced by a small minority of Muslims, mainly in countries that recognise the triple talaq.

they became arrogant definitely mis used power. not everybody knows how to handle power also.  what you said is not like across the land. in bits and pieces in some remote areas they were mistreated.  Not sure about Nights.  dasis (who were dedicated to service of god) were also mistreated and used. Generally some sections of the society was said untouchable and  made not to enter temples, dont drink water from common wells.

Bad experience from brahmin anedhi ambedkar nunchi is there. It is there from kashmir to kanyakumari.

When gandhi was killed by godse they were riots against marathi brahmins in maha. In kashmir also pandits are hated - not just by muslims.

But your story of women is just not true in those areas. i heard it is there in kerala though.
