Effectively doubling the volume. He needs to generate demand. Supply constraints, parts have come down. Parts supply will be stable -- parts manufacturer has to sell to some one - it's better be Tesla for then long-term. Engineering is fixed cost, so profit per vehicle may not be effected. These prices are roughly pre pandemic prices - 10% Quote
AndhraneedSCS Posted April 19, 2023 Report Posted April 19, 2023 Originally Model 3 should be $35,000 and Model Y should be 10% more or less than $39,000. It will probably go back to that price again. 2 Quote

praying Posted April 19, 2023 Report Posted April 19, 2023 If he can bring the prices around 40k for midsize vehicles his sales would shoot like a rocket, i would like to know the numbers how many orders he got because of this pricing? Quote
Variety_Pullayya Posted April 19, 2023 Report Posted April 19, 2023 All car dealers charged premium for cars last year. Tesla bypassed the dealers. With supply chain issues easing down , it's expected that prices will be slashed. I think car dealers will also give discounts. It's just not official on the manufacturer website. Quote
