If you are travelling from Overseas for Darshan, you don't need Booking.

NRIs have special Darshan facility if you arrive in India, the first 30 days. All you need to do is take your passport that has the immigration stamp and date, stand in line and you should be out in 3-4 hours. 

I think you can bring one family member (who is not an NRI/passport) with some conditions, check with TTD.

The ticket is Rs 300.
