విధుల్లో ఉన్న పోలీసులపై చేయి చేసుకున్న వైఎస్సార్టీపీ అధ్యక్షురాలు షర్మిలపై పోలీసులు కేసు నమోదు చేసిన సంగతి తెలిసిందే. ఆమెను అరెస్ట్ చేసిన పోలీసులు జూబ్లీహిల్స్ పీఎస్ కు తరలించారు. ఈ క్రమంలో తన కుమార్తెను కలిసేందుకు వైఎస్ విజయమ్మ పోలీస్ స్టేషన్ కు వచ్చారు. అయితే, ఆమె స్టేషన్ లోకి వెళ్లకుండా పోలీసులు బయటే ఆపేశారు. ఈ క్రమంలో పోలీసులతో ఆమె వాగ్వాదానికి దిగారు. కారు వద్దే నిలబడి పోలీసులపై నిరసన వ్యక్తం చేశారు. ఇదే సమయంలో తనను అడ్డుకునేందుకు యత్నించిన ఒక మహిళా పోలీసుపై ఆమె చేయి చేసుకున్నారు.
