The way i see it .. it shows his commitment.. an opportunity to meet common people hear their thoughts.. give party cader assurance… he is doing that.. you can clearly see the change in his speech before and now..

yeah Jaggadi ni kuda ade annaru But timing was on his side with state bifurcation and no other party other than TDP so workout ayindi second term Ki…Now Lokesh if he has to take up the mantle then he has to face a very strong leadership…and with the way politics in AP, strong political will vunnodu ae survive avutadu and I don’t think Lokesh is up there yet…he has to wait couple of terms.

Of course Samara, he has been around for quite some time and has learnt things in a hard way, not an easy task for someone who has been bullied for various reasons.

Connecting with people and cadre might help his prominence in the party but he still works under the shadow of his father….He has to wait for couple more terms. This formula never worked and will not work in this case too. 
 

Take the case of Deve Gowda/Kumaraswamy or Mulayam/Akhilesh. There can only be one power center only then it works.
