Anta Assamey Posted April 30, 2023 Report Posted April 30, 2023 Ahead of the elections, the YCP government would launch ‘Jaganannaku Chebudam’ programme on May 9. Under this, people can complain about their grievances to the CM directly and the officials will act in a time-bound manner. For this, every collector was allocated Rs 3 crore to enable begin works and take decisions for grievance redressal. The government also set a helpline number 1902 for this programme. Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy even told the officials that they should understand the importance of the programme as his name was tagged to it. There are several other programmes having the CM’s name as the prefix but the implementation of only a few of them is being done in a strict manner. In fact, the programme has a good intention but the problem arises with availability of funds. A similar programme is already under implementation called ‘Spandana’. As part of this, problems are being represented by the people to the collector in every district. However, only a few of the problems are getting resolved. Even basic facilities like street lighting, overflowing drainages, laying of roads are not being addressed immediately due to lack of funds. Unlike other programmes, it is being said that the collectors were allocated some funds in advance which gives some hope that several problems would be addressed. Will this programme help Jagan in getting a complete makeover of his image? Quote
