rey_amith Posted May 2, 2023 Report Posted May 2, 2023 Ma friend oksthanu recent ga laid off and moved to GC- EAD status as dependent and got one W2 offer from vendor and joined immediately and it’s a contract to hire role. Now he came to know that project may get scrap due to some issues and they may terminate his role. In between he gave couple of interviews got one F2E role. He is interested in joining full time role while doing this W2 role for few months. both domains are totally independent and in different states. do you guys think this will it be a problem in tax wise or for his wife adjustication process in future. Or does he get any issues during BG process for new role. he don’t want leave the contract role by him self and waiting for client to terminate his role and want to earn few extra $$ for couple of months. Why don’t u ask the company directly ? That will give u total clarity instead of asking someone on here bcuz u ur self know it’s not legal to do that but u still want to hear from others it’s ok to do that right? Quote
