They improved it after taking over but still has the old design 

Even redesigned the app , but i sont expect major improvements until they get rid of ex-govt employees

A lot changed after Tata's take over especially their booking website and the app...I just searched for flights and everything looks good. Their booking system is now managed by Amadeus  so you can expect a seamless booking service now...Amadeus is a world leader in  ticket booking software and manages lot of airilnes's booking system.

It will take atleast 5-7 years for changes to come through.
