Asserting his authority by showing who party cadres support,Sharad pawar will come back ,and show Ajit pawar his place ...in party .thereby showing party no revolt can possible until pawar is alive 4. Nominating dummy and controlling party through remote control,kicking Ajit pawar out and making Supriya sule president in long term ... Inkaa multiple probabilities unai .... But he is ailing and may not be significant player in the days to come. But to control the enormous empire he built, he has to have someone from the family at healm of the affairs of not as the Party President…Supriya Sule or Rohit Pawar. Ajit Pawar by all means has to succeed but he won’t be on his own, he is being dictated by BJP. Inkoka 10 years NCP survive avuthe ekkuva… Quote

The timing can’t be any better than this. Shinde is no one, he will be out of the scene in two years and Sena will be restricted to corporation elections. The only state where Congress/NCP can regain seats is MH and it will become a bipolar fight, Shivsena is out of competition. Quote
