Just keep an eye on market ..interest rates are peakest unless u have lot of cash to put down dont go for big house if not go for older smaller house..meanwhile good chances interest rates may come down next year apati varaku build some cash if u have 401k u have take 50% loan and then jump into the market for home..either way it's precarious situation in the market now with rents high interest rates high and home prices high..

401K nundi personal loan 50% ivvaru....its either 50% or max of 50K. So even if u have 200K worth in 401K, the max u can get loan is 50K. This is federal law

HOA high ante it depends....there are townhouse which has 200 - 250 HOA fees...if possible go for that. 

Also, oka 4 - 5 yrs varake townhouse lo unte better....not for very very long time. For sure ee 4 - 5 yrs lo things may change kada.....and this house will be like investment property too. Rents kuda baane vasthai and good number of ppl prefer townhouse over apartment after a point. So manchi area lo empty ga eppudu undadhu

what TS said I can relate..Me and spouse base total is 350k aina paisal saripotle..

of course last 3 years lo 1 primary + 3 rentals konna and now searching for 4th..adi vere vishayam

but true that expenses have increased...
