You get much bigger sq footage for $700K in TX than in CA. Second yes, property tax is 2-3% in TX and only 0.8-1% in CA. But CA lo incomes ekkuva untundi and state income tax is almost 5-6% untundi so $ wise you pay lot more taxes.

Also, dallas mass feel lo kick untundi antaru [I dont stay in dallas so vinnadi cheputunanu]. Lot of our telugu ppl need that kicku whether its cinema/hero pichalu or politics pichalu or biryani/bajji pichalu. 

I know ppl in DFW area who bought Range Rover Defenders after a certain movie. Inka meere guess chesukondi ee range lo pichi valu unnaru ani.

no state tax is a myth..you are paying 3% property tax which is almost equal to monthly rent

personally moving to TX from CA.NYC or Seattle area is most likely a big career prospect hit. If you are really good and want to work for good teams(not routine contractors routine tech stuff and multiple contract jobs), its not wise to move to TX/ATL/FL/NC.

Yup, main chip design architects or actual product architects are still in Bay Area only. Mid skill ppl move to Austin/Raleigh [secondary technology centers for companies like apple, cisco]. Inka waste candidates .NET/Data/Java/BI/ERP batch will be come to Dallas/ATL/FL.

buffalo gurinchii cheppalenu 

 

but cleveland area has everything you need for a telugu family except warm weather.
