In-laws traveling to India via Frankfurt in Lufthansa. Oka 6 hours layover undi . Do we need transit visa for layover if they are not planning to go out of airport ?

 

any recent experiences plz share . Thnx 

 

update:

Confirmed with German embassy . They have emailed stating  “ If you have a valid US visa in your passport you will not need a transit visa.“

USA visa valid vunte they shouldn't have a problem. No need of transit visa.

No , don’t travel, you need transit visa, American citizens are exception for visa not Indian citizens with American visa.

Airlines didn’t confirm they asked us to find out with embassy. 
they have valid US tourist visa . Is it fine ?

endiva ee lolli ..Flight maradiniki transit visa enduku.... if you are having valid US visa (travel or work or others) and not going outside Airport, you do not need it.. Rules emaina change ayyaya....

Yes. You need transit visa for Germany.

as long as you are staying in the airport and going terminal to terminal we dont need

One stop no need of transit visa. If you have US Visa. 

within Germany if you fly from Munich to Frankfurt  or viceversa and then to india or US then you need to have a transit visa.
