Is coming to USA worth it in 2023?

Waste of time. Its better you go to hyderabad and setup idly dosa morning, mirchi business in the evening....you will settle quickly instead of waiting for h1b pick and gc by loosing valuable youth time

It is not worth coming in 2023 as the path for H1 is getting narrowed every year. 2023 was very difficult. 2024 is going to be impossible. Don't go to US if you're a middle class person who is funded by parents' hardworking money. 

Those days are gone. Some fools are going to Canada assuming they'll get PR. Good days were gone in 2020. 

Now even PR holders r finding it hard to get jobs. Canada is expensive! 

Instead of going to US or Canada for Masters, get good marks in whatever field you are & get a job in India. So there parents are not burdened with massive loans. Stay in India. Plan accordingly.

I think it’s the other way, US provides the faster path to become rich for a middle class person in india, if both the couple gets high paying job or do multiple jobs sky is the limit and they can earn life time salaries in india within two years working in usa. 
 

Quality of life is better in usa in terms of pollution and law, but definitely end of the day we have to work on a-ss from house cleaning to what not. So usa is for money and india is for laidback life and comfort

Its a choice whether you want your kid to pursue bachelors degree at University of Texas or Sreenidhi engineering college?

How many schools have sports team or inter school competitions in India? If there is any unforeseen calamity, here the social security and disability gives them some money. India lo you cant expect same level of care.

Internal Civil war is different equation altogether. Minorities suffer the most whenever there is internal chaos. Indians and other non thellas will assam big time. But I was referring to foreign policy in the earlier post.
