On Petrol, states should also reduce VAT. Let's see how much Congress will reduce on Petrol. Although BJP is not passing on the benefit of cheap Russian gas to the people, it would be equally stupid to believe Congress will somehow benefit people. Sole beneficiaries would be Ambani & Adani. If they win in 2024 by miracle, Congress leaders will fully concentrate on making money. After all, they've been out of power for 10 years! With China's war with Taiwan around the corner, there is a need for strong government at the Center. If not, there's a chance India might be used as a pawn in the geo political games.
